WHAT IS GLOBAL VDC WEEK?

Global VDC Week is an international gathering that brings together mentors, certified professionals, and leaders in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) from around the world. This annual event serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, best-practice sharing, and global collaboration, fostering a network committed to advancing innovation and excellence in the engineering and construction industry.

Its mission is to strengthen professional VDC competencies, promote the application of collaborative methodologies, and prepare the international community to address emerging challenges and opportunities in the digital transformation of AECO projects.

In 2026, Peru will host Global VDC Week, where innovation, academia, and industry converge in the historic city of Cusco, inspiring global collaboration and transformation in engineering and construction.

WHY IS VDC GLOBAL WEEK IS IMPORTANT?

Global VDC Week provides an international platform for VDC Mentors and certified professionals to exchange insight on how to achieve better project outcomes through the application of the VDC framework and complementary methodologies.

Beyond technical knowledge, the event strengthens the global network of VDC leaders, promoting collaboration, mentorship excellence, and continuous learning.

It empowers mentors to refine their coaching techniques, stay ahead of emerging technologies, and embrace modern, integrated practices that are shaping the future of the engineering and construction industry.

Register by December 31, 2025, and complete your payment by January 20, 2026.

THE TICKET INCLUDES
• Full access to all academic program activities.
• Participation in scheduled technical and cultural visits.
• Meals included in Lima and Cusco: scheduled lunches and dinners.
• Airport to hotel transportation (Cusco)
• Official event materials.
• Certificate of participation issued by the organization.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS
Not included:
• Airfare (round trip Lima–Cusco).
• Accommodation in Lima or Cusco.

RECOMMENDED ACCOMMODATION:
• In Lima – March 22 and 23: free choice by the participant.
• In Cusco – March 24 to 27: The Sonesta Posadas del Inca Yucay

REFERENCE ACCOMMODATION RATES
The rates range between USD$ 140 and USD$ 270 for the standard single or double room and the master suite, respectively.

TRAVEL PLAN
• Sunday, March 22: arrival in Lima, welcome dinner, and initial activities in Lima.
• Tuesday, March 24: departure to Cusco to continue the program.

Participants who wish to deepen their experience may arrive earlier to join the VDC Introductory Week, an optional academic and networking module scheduled from March 22 to 26, 2025, in Lima, Peru, developed by the Universidad de Lima in collaboration with the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education and the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), Stanford University.
